5Better with flavor  Aug 25, 2010
The Apple Ginger flavor makes this product much easier to swallow, as does the Grapefruit flavor, though they are quite sweet (just water them down). The flavored Meiji Amino Collagens contain fewer doses per can than the unflavored, which stinks, though orange juice masks the foulness well. The better buy is the plain, only if you can get past the odor. The collagen product helps my joints. Results are modest, but it is noticable if I stop using this product,(weak achy joints). As a side benefit my skin has improved (texture & radiance)! It is worth a try as adjunct (also use glucosamine - chondroitin - hyaluronic acid) for anyone hoping to strengthen their joints, but the skin benefits are definitely noticeable.
